Dear Co-op members,

	The February 21 issue of Co-op News reports that in 1981,
290 people died in 130,000 fires "from the use of solid fuel heating
equipment".  Members with "Split wood, not atoms" bumper stickers
might consider saving lives by removing them from their cars.
